Pukka Herbs, known for its organic herbal teas, has announced the launch of a new latte – Night Time – to naturally support evening relaxation and sleep.

Expertly blended by Pukka’s Master Herbsmith Sebastian Pole, this luxuriously healthy herbal Night Time latte contains a plant based dairy & sugar-free blend of organic oat , coconut milk and nutty carob bean, infused with nature’s finest night-time herbs; lavender and chamomile, ashwagandha and nutmeg.

When added to milk (we recommend almond), the result is a smooth, creamy and warming drink with a malty taste, hints of nutty chocolate and delicate floral and aromatic notes. All of which have been blended to benefit anyone wanting to aid natural relaxation before bed.

Organic, gluten-free and caffeine-free ingredients:

Ashwagandha – a tonic root used to help the body under long-term stress. Ashwagandha improves energy and cognition by acting on relaxing neurotransmitter systems and protecting brain cells from damage.

Carob powder – is nutrient-rich and caffeine-free and contains relaxing polyphenols. It also has a higher calcium content, which in addition to keeping your bones healthy and strong is essential to blood clotting, transmitting information along your nerves and maintaining a regular heartbeat.

Lavender flower – high in essential oils that relieve stress and improve sleep. Lavender’s relaxing effects are considered to be largely due to the essential oils present, whether inhaled, ingested or applied topically.

Chamomile flower – contains relaxing essential oils that affect nerve transmitters effectively improving sleep quality. Traditionally, chamomile tea has been used to calm and to ease digestive complaints linked to nervous conditions.

Oats (gluten-free) – traditionally considered one of the best nourishments, especially used in recovering from stress-induced nervous fatigue and to aid restful sleep.

Nutmeg – is a warming spice traditionally used to aid sleep. It has a traditional reputation for its settling and calming properties in both traditional Indonesian herbal medicine and Western herbal medicine. Stay asleep as well as fall asleep.

Cinnamon – provides a gently warming, sweet yet sugar-free flavour while improving blood sugar control. Cinnamon has been found to have beneficial effects on blood sugar control by preventing insulin resistance and glucose tolerance, which can both be caused by sleep loss.

Pukka’s Night Time latte is availableo to purchase online from Amazon and from Holland & Barrett stores nationwide RRP: £4.99 for 15 servings.

Master Herbsmith and Co-Founder of Pukka, Sebastian Pole, says:

“Getting a good night’s sleep is just as important for our health and immunity as eating well and getting enough exercise. Natural herbal drinks can support and encourage the mind and body’s natural processes before and during sleep.

Whether you’re trying to adapt to a new sleep pattern, or just need to get a good night’s rest, there is a vast range of herbs that have a longstanding use for nourishing the nervous system and helping us relax.”

Our Night Time latte is a natural potion blended using potent organic herbs that help to calm the nervous system and swirl you softly into a deep sleep. As with all Pukka products, this latte is organic, natural and fair – crafted to benefit the health of people, plants and the planet.”
